Finally figured it out....here I am with Willow, one of my daily canine visitors. Dogs are so calming and one little fox terrior just snuggled up next to me and we looked into each other's eyes. Such a simple thing brings such pleasure.

Can you even imagine? A decade ago they wouldn't let people visit the maternity wing. Now, we have dogs coming in and sitting on patient's beds. I love it!
Aw sweetie I am thinking and praying for you. You are a fighter and you will get through this on your faith and spirit and with love from your family and friends. Sending the biggest hugs I can to you. xo Monica
I have not visited here but we share a common Blogger friend at One Woman's Journey. She has asked that we think about you as you begin this battle and just thought you might like to know that there are good vibes being send your way even from strangers you do not know.
I love this picture. My mom was in a nursing home for 4 years and I would bring our dog in to see her. She would pet him so gently and I could tell it helped her anxiety. Remember this picture when you get anxious.
I just caught up on your last few posts. I am so sorry to hear what you are going through. I can tell you are a strong woman and with that strength you will get through this! Sending you positive thoughts, prayers and continued strength!! Love the picture of you and Willow!
Sorry I have missed your postings and what has been going on with you. I back tracked to see what you were doing in the hospital bed. So sorry you are going through so much right now but you are one tough lady and made it through the brain surgery so I know you will make it through this to. "This too shall pass". I know it is going to be unpleasant to have treatments and such and my heart goes out to you. You are in my prayers dear friend. I love your little companion there. Hugs.
What a beautiful dog! I am so glad they let these animals into hospitals and nursing homes and such. They certainly bring comfort and joy in patient's lives. {{hugs}}
You should have whatever brings you comfort, Baliaha (Pat). My congregation has put you on the prayer list as "Balisha" Pat. If you are able to e-mail me your last name, we will put that on the list too.
I found that you are in need of intentional, specific, fervent prayer from Debra at Frugal Little Bungalow. I am sorry for this trial. You are on my prayer list and I have just finished a prayer. God bless and keep you. He is with you forever and ever.
My first time here, and so sorry to hear about your illnesses going on. It is a difficult time, I know I went through something the year before last. What a lovely dog, and so gentle and calm looking, as if it was looking in to your soul. It's normal to be afraid, for the unknown is frightening. My prayers are with you.
You have been and will be in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you will start getting your strength back soon. That is such a sweet "comforting collie" there visiting you. Dogs really do bring comfort and calm.
Oh dear Balisha my heart sank when I read your posts. Eat anything that makes you feel good sweets and all. It is important to get the calories in any way you can. My husband when he was on Chemo wanted only milk shakes and the Dr said drink as many as you want. keeping you in my prayers and stay as positive as you can it makes all the difference. Cathy
It is amazing to me how much we learn to care for our friends that we meet online! I have been so concerned for you and am sorry to learn that you are dealing with cancer. I will continue to pray for you, Balisha...that God will make Himself real to you in these difficult days and that you will know His peace that is beyond understanding. {{hugs}}
Balisha, I have you in my prayers....I know that once there is an actual "plan" started, you will do so well. I sometimes think that the anticipation of treatments causes more stress to a person than the treatments. I have sat thru many chemo treatments for my sister in law. She was ready to go out and eat when she finished with each of them:) I hope that you feel that well after. I will keep you covered in prayer. Love the picture. Terri
Those sweet dogs bring such great comfort to so many. What a great idea. And, yes--you should have sweets!
