A perfect Sunday.....
Slept in..... breakfast late (sausage, eggs, toast, fruit and coffee)...after clean up....talked to my daughter who is in Wisconsin, for about an hour...Joe came out and we read on the front porch....sat there through the rain...rain stopped and we got started on dinner...Joe grilled pork chops...and now we have the rest of the day to do what we want. No watering for me today....thank you Mother Nature....no meal to cook....just relaxing on this beautiful day.Hope yours is as nice.

It does sound like you both had a great day! We haven't gotten any rain as of yet. Hoping we will soon so that it might cool off a bit!
ReplyDeleteXO,

We've been having so many nice days. Getting a lot of use out of the porch this year.
DeleteOur day was similar, only with vegan meals and without the rain. Happy Sunday from my neck of the woods in Central Texas to yours, wherever you live.
ReplyDeleteI live in Byron, Illinois. Looks like you are getting some hot weather in Texas right now.
DeleteWhat a gorgeous photo. Sounds like a glorious day. I am finally moved/settled and anxious to catch up with you.
ReplyDeleteGod bless your evening. Mildred
Isn't moving a big job? I hope that I don't have to move again.
DeleteWell now--that photo is just glorious!!! We are suppose to get rain for the next couple of days and we need it. Lovely weather this past week.
ReplyDeleteI was standing over the container and took the picture. It's sort of a dark arrangement of flowers. I put some orange in there, but it's not noticeable.
DeleteThat is an outstanding floral gathering in your photo, I like the colors popping. My Sunday was ideal too; church with singing and joy. I then got inspired and bought lamb chops and an eggplant which we had for dinner. In the afternoon I read on the patio, weeded, and planted a Greek basil in with our lime basil. Happy June to you.
ReplyDeleteWe have the choice to go to Mass on Sat. evening. We do this most of the time. We just learned that our music will be shortened this summer due to choir members other commitments.I was so disappointed. I think that music is important.
DeleteI don't have Greek basil...or lime. I'll have to look for those.
I have been browsing your blog after seeing it featured on Cozy Little House. Your garden and photos are wonderful. Instead of Simply Balisha, I think your blog name should be Simply Beautiful!
