A tipped clay pot that was holding birdseed....makes a nice morning treat for these two little wrens. I think that the tiny birds are her favorite. These are tiny boxes for a gift or jewelry etc. There's a little artistic surprise in each box.
There are framed quotations about gardening and nature in her collection. My pieces are all gifts from friends. I've never bought a piece of this collection.
I bring them out each spring and leave them there all summer. I hate to put them away at holiday time, but I think that I enjoy them more if I put them away. That way I have something to look forward to in the spring.
Many of her pieces have her watercolor artwork in the background. Very simple decorations for wonderful words about love, friendship, and things that happen in life.I love this artist and her work. She has brought me many hours of happiness.....just seeing her creations around me.

OH!! I love these. I have never seen them. Now you have me rushing to Google Search her work! It is better to store them away, then, like a new present when you take them out of their boxes, dust them off and find just the perfect spot to display them.
ReplyDeleteLove that little wheelbarrow in the last photo! it's just adorable...
ReplyDeleteThanks to the introduction to a new artist.
ReplyDeleteI have seen these at Hallmark stores. I also noticed that Etsy...online has them. There are so many different things that she has done. I have a couple of framed pictures and also a little book. Her paintings have so much detail.....and she captures the animal or bird in many cute situations. She also makes ordinary things like garden tools look beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOh, Balisha! My daughter gave me that same bird lamp several years ago. It is on my front porch where I often sit and watch the birds. I have LOVED her work for years now, and her love of nature is certainly evident in all she creates. Thanks for sharing your lovely things!
